It is located in the Ventanas village, one hour from the urban area of the municipality of Jardín, Antioquia, on the road that connects this municipality with Riosucio, Caldas.
The birds of greatest importance for conservation are the Yellow-eared Parrot and the Glittering Starfrontlet, among others. The wildlife is very rich and varied, with mammals such as the Spectacled Bear. Within the characteristic vegetation of the Reserve, there are populations of Wax Palm (Ceroxylon quindiuense) and a species of Passiflora endemic to the Garden area (Passiflora jardinensis).
From the main park of the municipality of Jardín, Antioquia, take the road that connects with the municipality of Riosucio, Caldas. The journey is 18 kilometers and lasts approximately one hour.
Take the bus to the main collection point of the municipality. Public transportation departure times are Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
